This is a small example of a set of decision rules. Three vegetation alliances are present in cluster 21; Pinus palustris woodland, Pinus serotina woodland and Pinus taeda plantations. To separate these three alliances we used different combinations of NWI code, NWI modifier, and soil type.
To model the vegetation of the southern coastal plain we used over 800 rules!
